by Jeremy Fish & Various Invited by Drago to come to Rome and create site-specific works, San Francisco illustrator and skate culture icon Jeremy Fish created most of the paintings, drawings, and screen prints presented in Rome-antic Delusions while living in Rome, in symbiosis with the city. A remix of Fish's images, with an Italian touch added to his usual cast of characters and rich iconography, Rome-antic Delusions displays a symbiotic work with the Eternal City that uses a library of symbols and characters to tell real-life narratives in a surreal way and alter the established order. His vivid imagination stems from his bilateral artistic persona, which combines solitary introspection with the exuberance of changing perspectives, presenting the familiar city in a new way.
